I don't really know what all this song means. I'm not politically minded at all but there's something about it I've always kinda liked. I'd probably be embarrassed by my lack of historical and political knowledge if I were to find out the meaning of this song
But, anyway, I love belting out the song when it comes on....this coming from someone who isn't really a U2 fan at all!

super bowl saturday night

Yep!  We went to see the free Barenaked Ladies concert.  They put on a good concert.  They're silly and light-hearted.  Perfect for a first concert for the kiddos to attend.

 We were quite a ways from the stage so in order for the kids to see we had to lift them up.  Henry and Naomi were the only ones who really wanted to see the band play.

 Marcail was happy to dance.  She had just fallen onto the sand and was cracking up!

We didn't get to stay for the whole concert.  Henry and Marcail have colds and the wind and cooler air was making them get cough-y.  The wet air I think mades it show up more.  Plus, it was chilly for my little Floridian kids.  So, since it was almost 8 p.m. anyway, we decided to call it a night.  I'm glad we went as it was a fun family experience!
