A 3-fer::

There are times

when I'm feeling "inspired"

to shoot

some Self-Portrait poses.

Things are going pretty good

and then......

one of my littles decides to join.

These are from one of those times.

Pretty self-explanatory, right?

While watching the kids

ride their bikes on the basketball

court I noticed everyone's shadows.

I stood up and there was mine!

I didn't have my "real" camera

along, though.

But, in these times when 

one is in a crunch, they

pull out their cellphone 

and snap a pic with the

camera on their phone!

I think the camera phone

is such a great invention!

I'm addicted!

I'm a little late

in joining the bandwagon

for the Twilight Saga fans

but I am thoroughly

into it now.

The books are written so well

and the movies are great!

I am so looking forward

to seeing Eclipse,

which is the third

movie in the Saga.  

It is out in theater's now.

Right now, I am enjoying 

the Twilight Saga:Eclipse book.

Can't seem to put it down.

If you enjoy fantasy, romance, action and suspense

then you will enjoy the Twilight Saga!

I do talk on the phone too! 
I always enjoy
our phone conversations.

Texting is a mama's best
friend if she has young kids
and if she
happens to have friend's
with young kids.
My background
noise is usually
full of noisy children.
My friends have
young, noisy kids.
So, instead of locking
ourselves in a bathroom
or closet in order
to get a word in
if we are talking on
the phone, we text.
We probably
keep way
more in touch
with each other
because we can
text throughout the day.
We don't
have to wait
for kid's bedtime
when
we're both exhausted
to even speak to
each other over the phone.

Doesn't that sound like an inspired title??

I was playing with macro settings on the camera but

I don't believe the camera I used to have had

decent aperture and all that other

lingo and mumbo jumbo techy stuff

that I don't fully understand about cameras

and photography.

Anyway, I found this in my may10 archives and

figured it would suffice for a self-portrait.

This is the last photo I saved to my computer before it was stolen today.

Most afternoons or evenings, after the children have been playing, I go ahead and clean up behind them. *Ding* I thought, maybe I should take a really random and dorky picture of me cleaning up the kid's toys!! So, I did.

That one photo was the birth of my thought. I decided it would be fun to try to do a weekly self-portrait series for no other reason than just for fun. It's kinda like a day in the life of...but only from one moment in a day. It's going to be a challenge since I have no tri-pod and very little photography skills. Oh, and in order for it to be a self-portrait no one else can be taking the picture. It should prove interesting, if for no other person than me. Har-har! Anyway, enjoy.
