We Played at the Beach Today

As we were leaving these huge storm clouds rolled in and the wind picked up so much that the sand from the beach flew up and started hitting us in the legs and arms. The kids were a little scared but I made them wait so I could take these pictures. We got home in time before the rain came, but it was a windy, cold walk home! Good thing it's only about 8 minutes to walk from the beach to our house.
You can see our beloved little park in this picture. The rest of the pictures are, obviously, of the kids playing at the park on the beach.

Henry with his "shobel" digging a hole in the sand.
Marcail was fascinated with rubbing sand on her leg, I think she was being a little paranoid about her scraped knee she got on our walk to the park.

Naomi was playing so nicely with her sand toys.

Marcail likes her elephant; she was making horse noises as she "walked" her elephant in the sand.

Henry really loves the sand, he usually rolls around in it like a dog, can't seem to persuade him that the sand is really pretty yucky to be rolling in it. I guess that's what baths are for, right?

Playing, playing, playing! We usually have to share our sand toys with other kids at the park and it's a good way to learn how to be selfless with other kids (strangers). Today a sweet little girl played with the kids and just talked and talked to them........en espanol. They looked so confused. I think Marcail was very interested, she followed her around the slides and play equipment.

Posing for mom on the play equipment.

Henry wanted me to take lots of pictures of him on the slide, he's so proud of himself because he can climb all the way to the top of the tallest slide!

"Mommyyyyyyyyyyy!"

Isn't this so cute? I think her buck teeth are kinda sweet.

Another of Henry on the slide. He said, "Take a pirture of me on da side!"

Our Sweets: Naomi, Marcail and Hen-Hen

I told them to pretend they were on horseys, I don't believe it was a very comfortable postion because Marcail told me it was "Tight on her booty."
This park is my lifesaver! When the kids are fussy or the day is getting extremely long I take them here and it just really changes their moods. I only hope they don't get too burnt out. Then what would I do??

I can't help it. I'm weeping for lack of you all.
Thanks for the pictures, though.
Oh, those darling babes;
Each one beautiful and unique and precious.
Love you all.

Those are all great pictures!

You should take a photography class in all your spare time haha!

Seriously though, some of those look professional!
