again with the world of imagination(s)

Almost on a daily basis the kids play "mommy and daddy" a.k.a. "House". Henry is, of course the daddy; Marcail is the mommy and Naomi is proudly, the baby!
In these pictures they are pretending that they are at a restaurant. The books are their plates. Now, this amuses me since they have a nice set of play food toys and dishes and cups and silverware. I guess it's just easier to pull out all their books and use their fingers to eat their food?!

Here they are pretending to wash their baby in a step-stool turned upside down. Marcail is using the letter she got in the mail from Grammy as the washcloth.

Happy bathtime!

Marcail was holding Naomi-baby's hand leading her around. Boy, how Marc loves to pretend to be the mama! Naomi is only too happy to comply by being Marcail's little baby.

Naomi doesn't look too happy in this picture but, I assure you, she was in a really good mood....until I brought out the camera.
I am just so impressed with their little imaginations! I think it's adorable and have really been looking forward to these days when their playtime took full flight. Isn't it cute?

I love it! It is so cute and funny! Just goes to show how few toys kids really need. They can use books, stools, and letters!!! So many simple things and some good imaginations go a long way in play land! Naomi is TALL!

Save your money and just give them empty boxes and before you throw that empty canister away, think again! That could be their missing piece! Cracks me up how Nay Nay is holding her head back to get her hair washed! Marcail has a favorite "plaything" now!!! Unless her "plaything" resists!
So does Henry just go along for the ride or does he ever actually WANT to play?

He makes up games to play too. But usually they all just work together as a team and Marcail is primarily the leader.

Thats nice that they are keeping themselves busy! My kids have never played house ever! Kind of wierd.
