kid-isms IV

Marcail says the word "zip" as "rip". For example,
"Mama needs to rip my pants an button them."

Ice is pronounced by all three children as "rice".

Elevator is "Bedebador".

Henry loves "samerches" (a.k.a. sandwiches).

After nap today Marcail had a case of the toots. She was passing gas like crazy. After one particularly noisy expulsion I asked Marcail if that was her. She responded, and I quote, "I, um, um, I needed, I toot cause Jesus made me toot."
This answer from Marcail, I believe, stems from what my average response is to questions like, "Why do birds fly, Mama?" or "Why dat moon do dat about?" or "Why is it raining?" or "Why me a boy/girl?" because I usually always say, "Because God made them/you/it that way." I find it very interesting that Marcail changed her response from God to Jesus. Cool! She's understanding that God and Jesus are the same and I haven't even gone over that with the kids. It's just something she's picked up on through Bible songs and what little I've talked to the kids about. What a blessing.
