kid-isms 13

Most of the time, when Naomi is needing cuddle time or is hurt she wants us to carry her standing up. Not my favorite position if I'm going to be doing some extended soothing time since she gets heavy and it seems a little demanding of my 2-year-old. Yesterday, as she awoke from nap she wanted me to hold her so I picked her up and sat her in my lap as we sat on her bed. She fussed and said, "Hold me up high." I said that I wasn't going to do that because she just gets too heavy. Henry, who was standing next to us, reached over and smoothed her hair over and said, "Daddy can do it. Daddy really strong." Unfortunately, daddy was still at work. But, Naomi got over it and decided to be happy sitting with me instead.

Marcail was having a rather difficult time pulling her pants down to use the toilet before nap today. She said, "I'm too feddy." Which, in Marcail language is the word, sweaty.

The word "fix" is pronounced "Fik" by all three young-uns!

Cute:) How sweet of Henry to try to comfort her!

How frustrating for Marcail! I've been there.

Yea Marcail, it's like trying to put a bra on when you take a shower and didn't dry off enough.
When Johnny was about that age, he couldn't pronounce sweating and would always say I'm just so fetty. So cute!!! Marcail is a lot like you Tab. A lot like her Grammy too. Grandma b.
