While the kids and I were visiting our family in Kansas, James was busy remodeling our kitchen in our apartment. I had no idea what my busy husband was up to! I was totally stunned when I walked into my new kitchen last night when we got home. James was so pleased with himself. He was able to do all this in about 2 weeks. Fast!!! As you can see, there are still some touch-ups that need done on the walls. I think I may want to paint the walls a red. My dream is to have the cabinets painted white but when I mentioned it to James he gave me an extremely exhausted look. So, I will be happy with just a clear coat on the cabinets. Isn't it great?!!! I'm just so pleased!

Red walls? Wow! Red is a high energy color, but you come by it honestly between Marly and me, though I've gotten pretty peaceful these days!

Mom and Dad, Well I really wanted to paint my cabinets white to make them pop against a red wall(s). But maybe au naturale will be just as sufficient.
New paint, any color will make em pop!
