playing church

James caught this on his camera phone while I was at the laundromat today. Pay close attention to Henry, you can tell he really studied his Grandpa during church at Coram Deo when we visited our family in Kansas last month.

Did you notice Henry bobbing his head while strumming his guitar as well? He is inspired by many different genres!

Henry digs that guitar! Grandad says Henry is a better guitar player than he is!
So, were the kids giving "genders" to guitar sounds distinguishing between boy sounds and girl sounds?
Hmmm. So how can you tell the difference?

Thanks to James for "cameraing" this!

Was he tuning it?

Isn't it amazing that kids never get tired of us mamas even though we are with them 24/7!!!?

They went running for you as soon as they heard you!

Hhhmmm. . . .I finally got to see what Coram Deo fellowship is like. I found it surprising though that everyone was allowed to sing their own song and that the music leader would tune his guitar in the middle of a service. LOL!!!! Another priceless shot of your beautiful wonderful kids - way to go, James!

Oh Ruth! I thought the same thing! Crazy disorderly CDF! Ha! And the girls being louder than anyone else! Now you know! ; )
But come see for yourself sometime!
(We're really a rather peaceful bunch!)

Hee hee! That's funny! I almost made a remark in the post about how the girls really need to learn some submission.

I thought Henry was either tuning the guitar or maybe it was a little of (what I think of as) that "male ADD" in which the guitar was suddenly more interesting than everything around it.
