Last weekend I made granola using Laurel's sister-in-law's recipe (Thanks, Laurel!). It turned out perfectly! I didn't follow it to the letter because I felt like spoiling my kids just a little. So, I added cocoa, peanuts, raisins and chocolate chips to it! The raisins and chocolate chips I added after it was done. It was still a little warm so the chocolate chips all melted into it, which was fine. It tastes soooo good! We have cereal every morning for breakfast so the 1/2 batch that I made is going to be gone tomorrow morning. Think I'll make more traditional granola next....

Ha-ha, Mom! No, it's because the kids never get sweets or chocolate from ME unless it's their birthday or a holiday.
Mmmmm. . . sounds like a great topping for ice cream - how's that for breakfast?
