Healthy eating aside, I just had to try some extra white, no fiber Italian bread today! I'm making Italian for supper tonight and thought a loaf of hearty Italian bread would go perfectly with it. I experimented with two different shapes, round and long. Apparently the rounded loaf turned out much more pleasing to look at. I didn't realize what a time-consuming process making Italian bread was! I started the process yesterday and finished just this afternoon around 1:30. I think, even though it was fun to make, I will leave the Italian bread making to the kind folks in the deli department from now on.
