There's something really beautiful about the bare, stark landscape of Winter. I don't think I ever noticed it when I lived in the Midwest. It's after I have lived in the tropical climate of Florida that I began to notice the raw beauty. Green is a very refreshing color to look at everyday outside but its comforting to see browns and whites in a mid western winter.
While visiting our family in Kansas the kids and I ventured to a nearby park just a few blocks away from my parent's house. It was cold but not unbearable and it was nice to stretch our legs and breathe the crisp, fresh air. The scenery caught my eye at the park and I was glad that I had brought my camera.

I know I've asked you this several times before, but can you explain to me again how you make the header for your blog. I've made collages on Picasa, but I'm not sure what to resize them to so they will fit my blog. My attempts today made it to little, or too fuzzy.
Who knew the park in Winter was so photogenic!?! Very nice Tab :)
Oh, and I'm with Shannon. How do you make your header small enough? Mine is always too big too.

There are many things I miss about Kansas: the ticking of the oil drills, the fields of sunflowers soaking up the sunshine, the clear skies & seemingly "twinkly-er" stars...but I never thought about the starkness of the plains. It's very true! Kansas is very special & it's refreshing to be reminded!
