encouraging words

Last weekend my dear friend from high school, Nicole,

was in Miami with the family she works for.

They were on vacation and she had a day off of work.

We were able to spend all of Sunday afternoon with her and then

Monday all day as well!

It was fantastic to be able to spend time with her!

We don't get to see each other often since

we live so far apart.

I am so blessed, though, to have a friend like her.

She is sweet and encouraging.

She has an easy laugh and calming voice.

She is awesome with my kids!

(They love her!)

In high school youth group we were obnoxiously hyper and giggly together

but we wouldn't change any of it!

I am so thankful to be able to call Nicole my friend

and praise the Lord for the time we were able to spend together.

I didn't do well taking photos.  We were too busy visiting

and playing with the kids.

I did manage to snap a few.

This one the kids and Nic are editing pictures on her iphone.

I always like to take self-portraits of my friends and I together.
