Saturday morning found us awake at the normal weekly time; 7:15 a.m. I was being lazy and taking my time getting around. You know, pajamas til noon, lots of coffee for breakfast, cartoons for the kids, etc...But, around 8:30 that morning I received a text from my Italian friend, Lara, whom I met at the beach (she's from Italy and still has a very strong accent). She has a son, Giacomo who is Naomi's age and her husband is Luca (also from Italy). Lara wanted to know if we wanted to meet them at the beach to play that morning. I was pleased to quickly change my plans for the morning and hopped into the shower and got myself and the kids dressed. James helped get the kids ready and we headed to play with our Italian friends around 10 that morning.
Marcail and Giacomo had so much fun playing with cups and sand.
As we adults visited, we planned a picnic dinner at the beach for this Friday! I am so looking forward to it. I will hopefully get some more pictures of our time together and post them soon! Ciao!

Isn't fun meeting folks from different, far-off places?? John is currently in Europe and he gets to travel to Venice, Italy for the first time ever, he's really excited--that will be the end of next week. Ask your Italian friends if there is any place specific they hightly recommend John visits! Thanks!
