playing with the 'tulip' mode on my camera

The kid's main mode of transportation.
A collection of toys that didn't get put away before nap time.

The arm of our couch.

A lid from a food toy.

Our ancient dvd/vcr player.

Liv told me about using the tulip mode to get sharper close-ups, especially of small things. I'm really impressede with how well it works. I know these aren't the most interesting pictures, but they are pretty good close-ups right?

Good close-ups for sure. Oh no! Now I may need to experiment!

Very nice!
I have a hard time with the macro mode on my camera. I'm a bit shaky, and it needs a very steady hand. I wonder if on higher quality cameras, the steadiness isn't quite as essential?

I think that it has a lot to do with a higher quality camera, Laurel. Sometimes my camera is very sensitive to the least amount of movement on my part. It was just a good day for experimenting with the macro mode on my cam.
