After:(yeah, those are some flat loaves of bread)
What a bummer, all those 7 days of feeding this dough and that's what I get. I'm beginning to think that baking bread of any kind in South Florida is a lost cause. I sure hope the kids eat it without any complaints for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Grrr. So did the starter "make" the yeast or did you still have to add yeast? It seems like the problem was in the yeast (or yes the S. FL temp. or humidity.)

Thanks you two! No, mom, I didn't have to add yeast. It made it's own. I think it really is the weather. I followed the recipe and directions to the letter!!
