their first chapel christmas program

Sunday night was the Christmas program at the church we go to. My kids were angels for the program. Their Sunday School class sang Away in the Manger. We had practiced it all week together using the hand motions. They had it down! I wasn't sure how they would do the night of since they weren't thrilled with putting on costumes. Marcail was happy to comply, it was really up her alley! Henry decided to put his angel costume after Marcail did and Naomi didn't want anything to do with a white robe. Thankfully, James talked her into putting on the wings and halo.

I knew it was asking a lot of 2 and 3 year olds to actually sing and do the hand motions to a song so I wasn't surprised when none of mine did anything but stand on the stage when their time came. I'm just so glad they didn't have meltdowns once they got up there.

Such sweet "angelic" creatures!!
Marcail looks like she really wants to join in!
Nay Nay just wants a cookie(?) and Henry wants to be invisible!
Bravo that they stayed on stage without meltdowns!
