tuesday:: free movie day

At the movie theatre's here, and elsewhere,
during the Summer months,
they offer free movies
through the month of
June and July every week.
This week it's Astro Boy and
Tale of Despereaux.
I chose Despereaux since
Neli and Izaac were going
to join us.
I didn't know what Astro Boy
was like and it's rated PG
whereas Tale of Despereaux
is G-rated.
This was Izaac's very first
visit to a movie theatre.
I am so proud of him!
He sat so well and was very
enthralled with the movie.
The movie was cute
and I'm glad we got to enjoy it
together.

After the movie, we went
over to Neli's to enjoy
some swimming at the
big pool over at her
condo complex.
We swam for 3 1/2 hours, I believe.
It was so much fun!

inquiring minds want to know

If Toy Story 3 was any good...
YES!!! It was worth spending money at the theatre to see it. I laughed and I cried during the movie. My kids thoroughly enjoyed which, I think, is saying something for a 4 and 3 year old. They didn't take their eyes off the screen. James enjoyed it too and said, "It was good!" Ladies, we all know that means, in "woman speech", "It was fantastic!!! We should go see it again!"
So, if you have the chance you should make a little trip to your local cinema and go watch Toy Story 3. Today!

a visit to the cinema

On Friday afternoon, James and I took
 the kids to see Toy Story 3
 in 3-D at the movie theatre. 
It was opening day! 
This was their first movie at a theatre. 
They did very well and sat,
spellbound, through the whole movie! 
They even kept their glasses on
 to watch it which surprised James and me. 

When we got home,

 Marcail and I modeled

our 3-D glasses in a mini photo montage.
